Minecraft Dungeons II

The August gameplay announcement identifies rifts as the route into the Sift. That supports the general travel concept, not a reproducible sequence of quests, coordinates or keys.

As of our September 27 review, the announced launch is September 29, 2026. We have not played a released build to verify an unlock route. Do not buy an alleged access item or follow a made-up command on the strength of a trailer.

Minecraft Java & Bedrock

The September 26 Xbox Wire announcement explicitly names Java & Bedrock and gives a 2027 window. It does not establish a portal frame, activation recipe, snapshot number or exact release day.

An Ancient City portal video might show a mod, a concept build or edited footage. Check the video description and mod list before treating it as an instruction for an unmodified world.

Before following any portal tutorial

1. Identify the game: Dungeons II, Java, Bedrock or a modded instance.
2. Check the version number and whether the instructions are from a release, preview or mod.
3. Look for a source that demonstrates the complete sequence in that same version.
4. Back up an existing world before installing community content.

Modded Minecraft is a separate route

Mielon’s The Sift has creator-defined mechanics and is described as an interpretation of the trailers. Its portal rules belong to that mod. Use the mod guide to avoid mixing a downloadable community project with Mojang’s announced dimension.
