Three things that should not be mixed
| Project | Who defines its mechanics? |
|---|---|
| Minecraft Dungeons II | The released game and its official documentation |
| Future Java & Bedrock Sift | Mojang’s edition-specific releases |
| Mielon’s The Sift mod | The mod creator and the installed mod version |
A mod’s Ancient City portal mechanic is not evidence for the future vanilla entry method. Likewise, a creator’s creature names do not become official Dungeons II names.
Before installing community content
Open the creator’s CurseForge project linked in the sources below. Select a file that matches your Minecraft version and loader, then read its dependencies and changelog. The available file list can change after this page’s review date.
Use a separate modded instance and back up worlds. Do not assume a Java mod installs in Bedrock. This site does not host binaries, mirror installers or certify third-party files as safe.
Credit the actual creator
When sharing footage, include the mod name, author, game version and loader in the description. That helps another player reproduce the experience and prevents a fan project from being mistaken for a Mojang release.
